The National Communication Association’s Center for Communication, Community Collaboration and the Greensboro Public Library hosted an informational meeting on Learning Circles on March 12, 2021 at the McGirt-Horton Branch of the Greensboro Public Library. The Learning Circles program brought together community members who were studying online to provide peer support and technical help to learners. Learning Circles operated virtually throughout the early months of the COVID pandemic, providing Greensboro residents with opportunities to learn despite closures and lockdowns.
