Keeping the Faith: The Greensboro Massacre and its Aftermath

On March 10, 2020,  the departments of Media Studies and Communication Studies at UNCG hosted “Keeping the Faith: The Greensboro Massacre and its Aftermath,” a showing of the documentary “The Greensboro Massacre” followed by a panel discussion with survivors of the events of November 3, 1979. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Spoma Jovanovic. Panel participants included Rev. Nelson Johnson, Signe Waller Foxworth and Willena Cannon, all survivors of the massacre, and Lewis Pitts, the attorney who represented the survivors in their civil suit against the City of Greensboro.
